OE-2 Marine Observation Plane
The Marines wanted a few good airplanes to replace the L-19 for observation duty. What they got was an airplane made with later designed components, a larger engine, self-sealing tanks, a bit of armor plating and 40% better all around performance. For some reason, none of the other services wanted to use it and only 25 (some sources say 27) were built.
Naturally, the only skin available for this model is "Marine green". Propeller in kit is Peck.
OE-2 has been improved, lighter, wheels are only laminated parts and now has lifting tail.
