Wade Wiley's Basin Flyer
Wade Wiley's Basin Flyer (That's the way he spelled it.) is a simple, easily built, but good performing model that was designed for one design competition on smaller flying fields. For competition the performance is restricted by using a five inch, Guillow's red prop. For sport flying in larger spaces the kit includes a seven inch, Guillow's black prop. We recommend using some type of dethermalizer when using the black prop,
This type of structure makes a good first fuselage model for a beginning modeler. This is another model suitable for beginners and senior modelers that combine ease of construction with good flying characteristics.
All sheet parts are laser cut. It has a self aligning fuselage with sheet sides. . The aligning tools needed are part of the kit. This is a complete kit with laser cut sheet parts, strip wood, hardware and rubber. Two propellers are included. Both are Guillow's, a five inch red prop and a seven inch black prop. The model has a 22 inch wing span.
Note: Colors are brighter on domestic tissue. Asuka tissue is lighter.
